The new generation of high speed trains could make Welsh rail travel far more attractive to passengers

Commenting on the prediction by Passenger Focus that Wales will have to wait at least 15 years to benefit from "super-fast" trains, Welsh Lib Dem Shadow Minister for Transport, Jenny Randerson AM said:

"Its getting harder and harder to believe that the Labour government give a stuff about Wales when it comes to transport. After Lord Adonis' snub to Wales when he 'toured' Britain by train, it now looks like most of the investment in high speed rail will be nowhere near Wales. Labour are failing to deliver for the Welsh traveller."
