The Broughton plant makes wings for Boeing and is a hugely important employer

Commenting on the payment of a £28m grant to Airbus in Flintshire, Welsh Lib Dem Shadow Economy Minister Jenny Randerson AM said:
"I of course welcome the fact that the Government is prioritizing the future of one of the most important employers in north Wales, but we won't stem the tide of unemployment and economic downturn just by grant funding businesses and employers.
"The Assembly Government's priorities need to be about creating a business friendly environment in Wales and this needs a change of tack from them. Only if they sharpen their response to the recession, and above all create the conditions for an enterprising society to flourish, will jobs be secured for the long term across Wales."
