Commenting on the release of a report by the National Osteoporosis Society showing that under a quarter of the Welsh population understand the importance of taking care of their bones during their teens and twenties, Welsh Lib Dem Health Spokesperson, Jenny Randerson AM said:
"I think its very good that the National Osteoporosis Society are raising awareness of this issue. The lack of understanding uncovered by this report shows that there's an urgent need to educate people about the fact that if their bones are damaged in their 30s or 40s, they are less likely to fully recover unless they strengthened their bones earlier in life."
